Sunday Matinee

I remember how my grandmother used to tell me when I was a kid that there is a time and a place for everything. Little did I understand what she meant by that back then until my teen years. Its not that we cannot do certain things all the time and it does not mean that we may not be happy doing them always.

Rather, to me, it means that certain things are best enjoyed (to the fullest) when they are done at the right time and the right place when they are meant to be done. So how do we know when is that time and what is the place? Does it apply to everything that we do in our lives? Well, maybe it does or maybe it does not.

I'm more than to happy to indulge myself with those things that I have actually found; its not that I'm not curious to find it all but with a short life, I rather enjoy those moments that, I know, exist. I'm sure that I will be only glad to find more such things as my journey goes on. Well, let me get to writing about the reason as to why I'm typing this here on a sunday evening (you may actually be reading it a bit later).

One of the things for which I have unlocked the best time and place is watching movies. Sunday afternoon + home + a good movie = HEAVEN. The most important factor in the equation is the choice of the movie. I strongly suggest a well balanced movie which carries a bit of everything (don't blame me if you pick a wrong one like that ship disaster movie they made; you may just fall asleep).

The movie I picked today starred two of my favourites Hugh Grant and that 'cutie pie' Drew Barrymore. The movie is called Music & Lyrics – it is a beautiful film about music, lyrics, romance and humour. Well, if you have not guessed it already from my previous posts, romantic comedies are one of my favourite genres. Watch it sometime and you may like it.

There is actually something that could make this heaven feel more enchanting to me. I need to find someone to watch these matinees with and maybe I could even get to sing 'Way Back Into Love' to her. (Anyone out there??? LOL)
